Grandpa Doc's Citizen's Arrest Mug | Two Tickets, Both Dismissed

Grandpa Doc's Citizen's Arrest Mug

One ticket for driving too slow. One ticket for chasing the trooper. Both dismissed!

Some legends are born. Others chase down the highway patrol.

Meet Grandpa Doc — Dockery Roberts, the fun-loving patriarch of Anchored Oaks Farm, whose adventures still keep his family laughing generations later.

One day, Grandpa Doc received a ticket for driving too slowly. Later, he spotted the very same highway patrolman speeding down the road without his emergency lights or siren.

Naturally, Grandpa Doc decided something needed to be done.

He turned his truck around, chased the trooper until he stopped, and announced, "Citizen's arrest!"

The trooper wasn't amused. Instead of accepting Grandpa Doc's citizen's arrest, he handed him another ticket — this time for speeding!

But Grandpa Doc wasn't finished. He took the matter to court, where the judge dismissed both tickets.

Two tickets. One unforgettable Grandpa Doc. Zero convictions.

This vintage-inspired ceramic mug celebrates one of the many true family stories behind Anchored Oaks Farm. Featuring Grandpa Doc's black-and-white Ford pickup, a highway patrol car, and nostalgic Southern artwork, it's a little piece of family history with a whole lot of personality.
